A retrospective of the Village Christmas Tree

This year the Jamestown Village Christmas tree was donated by Ed and Claire Furtado in memory of Frankie Furtado. The Norway Spruce tree was planted on April 18, 1974, the second birthday of Laura Furtado Caster. Laura is pictured, above, with the tree on the day of its planting 23 years ago. Tree Trivia Did you know that each of the golden bell ornaments on the Jamestown Village Christmas tree has a name on it? The tree committee is seeking donations in the form of dedicated ornaments to defray the cost of bulbs and lights. This is a great Christmas gift.
