Drunk driving charged

Jason T. Miller, 25, of North Kingstown was charged on Nov. 25 with DUI with a blood alcohol content of over .15, after failing a field sobriety test, police said.

Miller was stopped by police on Route 138 westbound before the Jamestown Bridge for speeding and erratic operation of his vehicle. He was held overnight and arraigned at the police station. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Nov. 30 at Newport District Court, according to police.
