Visit the Newport Visitor Information Center located at 23 America's Cup Ave., in Newport, on Wednesdays between 12 and 5 p.m., now through Dec. 3 to receive a complimentary Destination Newport Coupon Book packed with over $500 in savings at attractions, restaurants and shops throughout Newport County.

Wacky Wednesdays are the perfect way for you to save on holiday gifts or treat your visiting guests to a fun, local attraction more economically.

The Destination Newport Coupon Books are produced by the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau (NCCVB) with the help of sponsor ABC6 and are normally available for purchase at the Newport Visitor Information Center for $5. Some of the great values include $2 off admission to the Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center, 15-percent off at All Fired Up Pottery and 10-percent off at Spa Vure at the Newport Marriott.

"We are happy to give away our coupon books this time of year to encourage local holiday shopping and entice residents to visit a local attraction they may not have seen in years," says Cathy Morrison, VP of Operations at the NCCVB.

Wacky Wednesdays are the NCCVB's way of saying "Happy Holidays." While at the Newport Visitor Information Center, ask about all the fun, family events planned this season as part of the 37th Annual Christmas in Newport.
