Veteran's recall Pearl Harbor

The island's veterans groups will commemorate Pearl Harbor Day on Friday, Dec. 7, by raising the flags over East Ferry's Veterans Memorial Square.

Volunteers are needed to help the veterans put up more than 100 American flags, each donated by the family of a Jamestown veteran.

The flags will go up at 7 a.m. and come down at 3 p.m.
