Foreign film series starts Jan. 10

The Friends of the Jamestown Library will show the first film, "The Italian," in their 2008 Foreign Film Series on Thursday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m. Despite its name, "The Italian" is a 90-minute long 2005 Russian film that was based on true events about a runaway orphan. The second film of the series will be the 2000 Chinese film "Happy Times." All films are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the library at 423-7280.
