      Building permits David M. Center received a permit on Dec. 27 to make renovations according to plan at 28 West Passage Drive, work estimated to cost $15,000. Michael Dwares received a permit on Dec. 27 to replace 11 windows at 22 Narragansett Ave., work estimated to cost $9,000.

Fire and EMS Runs
      Fire runs 12:06 p.m., Dec. 24, Ladder 1, Car 3 and Engine 3 were dispatched to Maple Avenue for a cooking fire call. 11:09 p.m., Dec. 24, Car 3 and Engine 3 went to Lincoln Street for a false alarm. 12:27 p.m., Dec. 25, Cars 1 and 3, Engines 1, 2, and 3, and Ladder 1, were sent to Reservoir Circle for a chimney fire call.

Police Log
      Multiple charges Troy T. Davis, 31, of North Kingstown, was charged on Dec. 30 with first offense driving with a suspended license and first offense possession of marijuana after he was stopped for speeding on Route 138 East near the toll plaza, police said.
