Locals helpful after the fire

On behalf of my brother Mark Robertson, his girlfriend Jody, and Bill Bell who suffered a house fire last weekend and lost all their personnel belongings, I would like to take this time to thank all of those kind folks who made the benefit on their behalf not only possible, but a great success.

Thanks go to the Jamestown Fire Department, Paul Mackleer, Frank and Sandra Gates, Christine and Scott Turillo, Danny Petrocelli, Heather Burns and Joseph Medeiros.

Some of the local businesses that were extremely generous included Printing Express, the Secret Garden, Catherine Jamieson Salon, House of Pizza, Narragansett Café, McQuades Market Place, Central Garage, Slice of Heaven, Jamestown Hardware, East Ferry Deli, Conanicut Cleaning, all the folks at Jamestown Designs, Ken and Adam from Ken's Barbershop, and Ocean Essence Spa.

Jen and David Clancy, Deb Goyette, from the Purple Door, Peter Gaduory, Trattoria Simpatico, Jamestown Wine and Spirits, Bay Voyage, Stop & Shop, Mike Pinksaw and Mellissa for the great DJ Service, Shades of Sunderland Tattoo parlor, Joe Gladding, Anita Haircut, Jimmy Nerohna and the guys from the fishing boat, and Kenny Martin from Carrellas Pizza Parlor also deserve many thanks.

And, from anyone who made a cash donation we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

To all the good people who came out to show their support from Jamestown and throughout Rhode Island, thank you again for your generous donations. It's a joy to live in such a wonderful, family oriented town.

Suzy Robertson
