      Sheila M. (Gorman) Kraut, 72, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of William F. Kraut for 49 years. Born in New Haven, Conn., she was a daughter of the late John P. and Julia (Sugrue) Gorman.

Ethel M. Kitts, 86
      Ethel M. (Diddlebock) Kitts, 86, of Howland Avenue, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, at home. Born in Philadelphia on Aug. 9, 1921, she was the wife of the late William F. Kitts. Mrs. Kitts was a crossing guard at the Jamestown School for 15 years, before retiring in 2007. She was a communicant of St. Mark Church in Jamestown, where she was a Eucharistic minister for many years.

      Violet F. Drury, 81, of 16 Knowles Court, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. Born in Jamestown, she was a daughter of the late Peter F. and Violet (Cooper) Drury. She graduated in 1948 from Simmons College in Boston, Mass.
