Booklovers can choose discussion time

Night or day, booklovers will be able to choose between two book discussions at the Jamestown library each month.

An evening discussion will be held the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. and an afternoon discussion will meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. Both groups are facilitated by library director Judy Bell and for now, they will discuss the same book each month.

The following titles are being considered for future book discussions, "The Big House: A Century In the Life Of An American Summer Home," by George Howe Colt; "The Spirit Catches You And You Fall Down: A Hmong Child, Her American Doctors, And The Collision Of Two Cultures," by Anne Fadiman; "The Widow's War; Shapin, Jan, A Snug Life Somewhere," by Sally Gunning; "Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant," by Anne Tyler; "Snow," by Orphan Pamuk; "Suite Française," by Iréne Némirovsky; "Atonement," by Ian McEwan and "A Thousand Splendid Suns," by Khaled Hosseini.

Dates and titles will be decided at the Tuesday afternoon meeting
