Learn about dangers in biofuel business

Each year in Colombia, more than 3,000 people are killed at the hands of paramilitary groups and guerrillas, while millions more flee or are forced out of their homes

Learn first-hand about the abuses and hardship that the oil palm biofuel industry is causing in Colombia, and how Americans might help, at a forum with Eustaquio Polo Rivera on Tuesday, April 1.

"A Hungry Peace: Palm Oil, Power, and Non-violent Resistance in Colombia," will be given at 7 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 383 Old North Rd. in Kingston.
