Donald "Fuzzy" Andreozzi, 58

Donald Andreozzi, 58, of Jamestown, died March 21, 2008, with his loving family by his side.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Julia (Forte) Andreozzi.

He was a graduate of Barrington High School, class of 1968, and the URI class of 1973, where he was a brother of the Chi Phi fraternity. He was the former owner of Fuzzy's restaurant in Jamestown and he worked in the propane industry for over 20 years.

Known for his amazing food, dry sense of humor, stellar golf skills and presence in the community; he was loved by all.

He is survived by two daughters: Megan Andreozzi, of Newport, and Rachel Andreozzi of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three sisters, Judy Carr and Marianne Christ, both of New Hampshire, and Karen Cordeiro of Riverside. He was known as Uncle Donald to his seven adoring nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews. He also leaves his best friend, Carol Hopkins of Jamestown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, Thursday, March 27, at St. Mark Church, Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown. His burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Fuzz Foundation for Dedicated Athletes, c/o 87 Reservoir Circle, Jamestown, RI 02835.
