Book groups announce spring, summer reading

The next session of the Evening Book Group will be on Monday, April 14, at 7 p.m. to discuss "The Widow's War" by Sally Gunning.

The evening group meets on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. The Afternoon Book Discussion Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m. Both groups are facilitated by library director, Judy Bell.

Meetings and titles for future discussions include: Monday, May 12, and Tuesday, May 13, reading "Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant," by Anne Tyler. On June 9 and 10, the book will be "Suite Francaise" by Irene Némirovsky. The July sessions will be on Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 8, reading "A Snug Life Somewhere," by Jan Shapin.

The groups are open to the public and new participants are always welcome.

For more information, call the library at 423-7280. These books may be obtained through the Jamestown Library by placing holds on one of the many copies in the state available through the Ocean State Libraries.
