Old books on sale at library

A library discard book sale at the Jamestown library will be held on Saturday, April 19, through Monday, April 21 during library hours.

Some much-loved volumes will be available at great prices.

The library has had to weed out more than 800 fiction and nonfiction titles in the last year to make room for new materials. Many of the weeded books are old favorites and some duplicate classics. All discards will be priced to sell at $1 each.

There will also be one table of specially priced books and sets.

The regular hours of the Jamestown library are Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday noon to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
