Container gardening demo planned

The Friends of the Jamestown Library will host "Gardening in Containers" on Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m. at the Jamestown library.

David Urban, the new proprietor of the Secret Garden will present a lively, informative program with tips and hints on the best practices to get the most from container gardens. A raffle of the demonstration container garden will be held at the end of the program.

This is a good chance to meet the new owner of the Secret Garden and spend an hour with friends and neighbors at the library. This program is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the library at 423-7280.
