Robert Broadhurst, 64

Robert Broadhurst, 64, formerly of Mishnock Road, West Greenwich, died Monday, April 21, 2008 at the home of his sister in Jamestown.

Born in Newport, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Conca) Broadhurst.

He worked at Stanley Bostitch, Inc. for many years before retiring.

He leaves a daughter, Wendy LaSalle of New Hampshire; three brothers, Charles Broadhurst of Ponte Vedra, Fla., Samuel Broadhurst and his wife Sheena of Silver Springs, Fla. and Darrell Broadhurst of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a sister, Dorothy B. Norton and her companion Joseph Tiexiera of Jamestown; an aunt, Gilda Broadhurst of West Warwick; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William Broadhurst, Jr. and Jean Marie Gara.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at the home of his sister, Dorothy B. Norton, 51 Howland Avenue, Jamestown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 or the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated. Arrangements are with Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, North Kingstown.
