      Grace Butterworth Walls, 97, died peacefully Wednesday morning at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Alden R. Walls, a prominent Narragansett Bay yachtsman.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George W. and Mary (Adams) Horton, she lived in Warwick and formerly resided in Jamestown and Narragansett.
