Local students show art in capital city

Several students from the Lawn Avenue School will have their artwork exhibited in Providence during the month of May.

The Second Annual Richard W. and Ronald S. Buteau Memorial Exhibit, for public school student work, will be shown at the Feinstein Providence Campus of the University of Rhode Island.

Jamestown students, from grades 5 to 8, whose work will be shown include, Cara Liberati, Dimitri Varrecchione, Chris Holmes, Fiona Christie, and Erica Croft.

The exhibit runs through May 30 and the gallery is located at 80 Washington St., in Providence.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
