      Drunk driving charged Michael Evans, 40, of 31 Southwest Ave., was charged May 22 with first offense drunk driving and refusal to take a Breathalyzer test after he was stopped for running a stop sign and speeding on Route 138 eastbound, police said.

      Fire runs 12:30 p.m., May 20, Cars 1 and 2, and Engine 3 were sent to the Lawn Avenue School for a helicopter landing drill. 4 p.m., May 20, Engine 3 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Route 138 westbound. 2:22 a.m., May 21, Cars 1, 2 and 3, Engines 1 and 3, and Ladder 1 were sent to Conanicus Avenue for a carbon monoxide incident.
