Harry E. Dutson, 91
Harry E. Dutson, 91, of Clarke's Village Road, Jamestown, and formerly of Warwick, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. He was the husband of the late Olive R. (Martin) Dutson.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Harry E. and Ruth (White) Dutson, he was a summer
Jamestown since 1961, and a permanent resident since 1985. He also maintained a home in Dunedin, Fla.
He was the owner of Eastern Steel Stamp Co. in Cranston before retiring. He was an avid fisherman and bowler.
He is survived by two daughters, Judith C. Turley of Attleboro, Mass. and O. Ruth Gormly of Warwick; two sons, Robert H. Dutson of Summit, N.J. and Peter A. Dutson of Warwick; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Kenneth C. Dutson and Dora Dutson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours tonight, Thursday, May 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Spring Green, Warwick. The funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a favorite charity.
