Pound benefits from electronics recycling

Friends of the North Kingstown Dog Pound, in conjunction with Office Recycling Solutions (ORS) and Cartridge World Rhode Island, will host a computer and electronics collection day on Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The dog pound will ask for a $1 donation per item dropped off that day.

Those with unwanted electronics may take them to the North Kingstown Dog Pound at 365 Hamilton Allenton Rd. There will be a truck set up in the parking lot to receive your e-waste.

The following items will be accepted at this collection event: CPUs/computers, servers, keyboards, spare computer parts, monitors, car stereos, cables and wires, cell phones, and telephones are all accepted for the $1 donation.
