Play a round of golf and help the schools

The Jamestown Schools Parent Teacher Organization needs golfers for their second annual golf tournament this Saturday, June 14, starting at 11:30 a.m. The tournament is the largest fund-raiser of the year for the schools.

Golf foursomes are still available, and individual golfers can be placed in a foursome.

There will be a silent auction throughout the day and a live auction starting at 4:30 p.m. Some of the fabulous auction prizes include a two-hour private party on the Jamestown Ferry, Red Sox tickets, Patriots tickets, a private dinner party for eight with Chef Kevin Gaudreau, a J20 boat rental, golf at the prestigious Yale Golf Course, and various restaurant, spa and massage gift certificates. Come bid on a great Father's Day gift for dad.

The auctions are open to the public. There will be live music and a cash bar.

Non-golfers may still get in on the festivities by purchasing tickets to the Steak Fry, which starts at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $35.

For reservations or tickets, call 560-0269.
