Open house organizers thanked

The Jamestown Emergency Medical Services wishes to thank their social committee for their hard work at the open house held at our headquarters on Monday, May 26.

Linda Brown, Prim Bullock, Nancy Ventrone and Ralph Aresti did an outstanding job of welcoming the public.

We also wish to acknowledge that the drinks, fruit and granola bars came from Stop & Shop Distribution Center in Assonet, Mass. Thanks to senior site director Edward Ruddy. The blood glucose monitors and test strips came from Super Stop & Shop, Middletown. Thanks to store manager Michael Coleman.

A special thanks to JEMS member, James Ingari, distribution safety manager at Stop & Shop, for facilitating the donation.

We are grateful for the support we receive from the community and for your interest in JEMS. Several people filled out membership applications. Volunteers, especially drivers during the daytime hours, are most especially needed. Consider serving your community by joining JEMS. Rick Hodges Director, JEMS
