On June 1, 2008, the Town of Jamestown held its annual Financial Town Meeting. At that meeting 115 of the approximately 4,500 registered voters of the town made a decision on how our tax dollars were to be spent. How the town budget is spent is such an important issue. More ... One could almost hear the collective sigh of relief this week as the price for one gallon of gasoline dipped a penny or two below the $4 mark. We now think of gas that costs $3 or less as the good old days. Of course, none us of expect gas prices to continue on a steady decline.
