The Conanicut Island Art Association will hold their first open show, "Art around the Bay," starting Thursday, Aug. 7 at the Jamestown Town Hall.

This is the first CIAA show where exhibiting artists do not have to be a member of the association.

Drop off for the show will be Thursday, July 31, from 12 to 4 p.m., at Town Hall, 93 Narragansett Ave.

There will be an opening reception from 5 - 7 p.m. on Aug. 7 with catering by Trattoria Simpatico.

Artists may enter up to three pieces for the show, provided they are ready to hang, do not exceed 48-inches in dimension, and are appropriate for Town Hall. For more information, call Wendy Crooks at 423-0993 or Don Miller at 423-0612.
