TOWN HALL RECORDS
      Building permits Harry Baird received a permit July 29 to strip and re-roof a house at 469 West Reach Drive, work estimated to cost $5,776. Robert Soucy received a permit July 29 to install a fieldstone retaining wall in the backyard area at 388 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $102,200.

FIRE AND EMS RUNS
      12:20 p.m., July 26, Car 3, Special Services 1 and Engine 3 were dispatched to Ferry Wharf for an oil spill. 5:57 p.m., July 26, Car 1, Special Services 1, and Engine 3 were sent to Clarke Street for a gasoline fire. 10:05 a.m., July 30, Car 1 and Engine 1 went to North Main Road to assist a trucker whose brakes were on fire.

POLICE LOG
      Domestic multiple charges Jeffrey McCooey, 28, of 807 North Main Rd., was charged July 31 with domestic disorderly conduct, domestic vandalism with malicious injury to property, and domestic simple assault and battery after police received a call from neighbors that they could hear screaming and yelling coming from the residence, police said.
