Storyhour at library begins next week

Weekly Preschool Story Times will resume at the Jamestown library on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

Preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to meet for Mother Goose Time and Story Time in the children's room on Wednesday mornings and most Friday mornings.

Mother Goose Time is a half-hour program featuring finger games, nursery rhymes, and music for children from birth to 2 years old, along with a parent or caregiver, and will be presented from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays.

Story Time, a 45-minute long program featuring picture books, finger games and crafts for 2 to 5 year olds, will be presented from 11:15 to noon on Wednesdays and from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on most Fridays.

Story times at Jamestown library are free and open to all preschoolers and their caregivers, no registration is required.

Library assistant Dianne Edgar will be filling in while Children's Librarian Rowena Burke is away.
