Supplying a minor

with alcohol charged

Jonathan A. Gardiner, 23, of South Kingstown was charged Aug. 19 with supplying a minor with an alcoholic beverage after police received a call about an erratic driver at Ft. Wetherill Park, police said.

Gardiner was scheduled for an arraignment Aug. 29 at Newport District Court, police said.

Possession of alcoholic

beverage by a minor charged

Sean P. Seigel, 18, of Wakefield was charged Aug. 19 with possession of an alcoholic beverage by a minor after police responded to a call about an erratic driver at Ft. Wetherill Park, police said.

Seigel was scheduled for arraignment Aug. 29 at Newport District Court, police said.

• Three juveniles were charged Aug. 23 with possession of an alcoholic beverage by a minor after police responded to a report of a party and bonfires on the beach at Park Dock, police said.

A court date at Newport District Court has not been set for the minors, police said.

Drunk driving charged

Lizbeth Brunette, 49, of North Kingstown was charged Aug. 23 with first offense drunk driving and refusal to take a breathalyzer test after police stopped her on Weeden Lane for erratic driving, police said.

Brunette was scheduled for arraignment Sept. 5 at Newport District Court, police said.

Marijuana possession charged

A juvenile was charged Aug. 23 with first offense marijuana possession after police responded to a report of a party and bonfires on the beach at Park Dock, police said.

A court date at Newport District Court has not been set, police said.

Domestic assault

and battery charged Joseph C. Vita, 45, of Warwick was charged Aug. 24 with domestic simple assault/battery and refusal to relinquish a telephone after police responded to a 911 call reporting a man and woman fighting and the woman yelling for help at East Ferry, police said.

Vita was scheduled for a pretrial hearing Aug. 29 at Newport District Court, police said.

Driving with an expired

license charged

Rachel F. Marsh, 28, of Middletown was charged Aug. 25 with driving with an expired license after she was stopped on Route 138 after police ran her license plate looking for a stolen vehicle, police said.

Marsh was scheduled for a pretrial hearing Sept. 5 at Newport District Court, police said.
