Eileen V. Burns, 86

Eileen V. (Kelley) Burns, 86, of Spanker Street, died Friday, Aug, 22, 2008 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Norman E. Burns.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Walter F. and Mary Ellen (Finley) Kelley.

She worked for International Packing Company. A communicant of St. Mark Church, she was a member of the Jamestown Seniors and the Portuguese American Citizens Club. She loved reading and exercising five days a week.

She was generous and always enjoyed helping those in need.

She leaves three children, Ruth Ellen Burns of Jamestown, Thomas E. Burns of Smithfield and Eileen V. Simmons of Lincoln; five grandchildren; several nieces and one nephew. She was the sister of the late Joseph F. and John Kelley.

Her funeral was held Wednesday, Aug. 27, from the Fagan- Quinn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St. Mark Church. Burial was in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
