Golf tourney to benefithose with disabilities

Bridges Inc. will hold its second annual Golf Classic on Sunday, Sept. 21, at the Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth.

The tournament is a scramble format that will begin at 11 a.m. It will include a raffle and silent auction as well as dinner and awards. All proceeds for this fund-raising event will be used by Bridges, Inc. to help support people with developmental disabilities.

Bridges Inc. has been operating from their Jamestown offices for more than 20 years. Their highlytrained staff provides supports to help those individuals served participate as fully as possible in all aspects of life.
