J. Nelson received a permit Aug. 25 to erect a temporary tent on Aug. 27 and dismantle it Aug. 29 at 368 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $3,500.

Joseph and Barbara DiStefano received a permit Aug. 26 to build guest quarters above an existing garage at 276 East Shore Rd., work estimated to cost $70,000.

Peter Johnstone received a permit Aug. 26 to install a drip irrigation system for landscaping. The water source is from a new private well at 40 Clarke St., work estimated to cost $1,500.

Dickson Boenning received a permit Aug. 28 to re-roof an existing house at 38 Marine Ave., work estimated to cost $6,100.

Erica Gregg received a permit Aug. 28 to install a kitchen, second floor bath, and remodel a first floor bath, re-shingle the outside of the building and install replacement windows at 117 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $25,000.

Madeline Coviello received a permit Aug. 28 to replace an existing front entrance deck and stair, door and sidelights at 143 Frigate St., work estimated to cost $4,413.

James Godena received a permit Aug. 29 to re-roof and replace a skylight at 6 Windsor St., work estimated to cost $6,000.

Electrical permits

James Bishop received a permit Aug. 25 to install low voltage wiring at 64 Bay View Drive, work estimated to cost $7,000.

Mechanical permits Deborah Harrington received a permit Aug. 25 to install an underground propane tank and gas piping at 20 Walnut St., work estimated to cost $4,000.

Joseph Tamburine and Erica Gregg received a permit Aug. 29 to replace a boiler and add an indirect water heater at 117 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $5,500.

Plumbing permits

John Dourado received a permit Aug. 24 to install a bathroom at 213 Capstan St., work estimated to cost $1,200.

Peter Johnstone received a permit Aug. 29 to install backflow for a yard sprinkler at 40 Clarke St., work estimated to cost $250.

Joseph Tamburine and Erica Gregg received a permit Aug. 29 to install a new kitchen sink and dishwasher, replace first floor fixtures, and add a half bath on the second floor at 117 Howland Ave., work estimated to cost $6,800.
