Fire runs

7:30 p.m., Sept. 4, All units responded to a training drill at the fire station on Narragansett Avenue.

8:48 p.m., Sept. 6, Engine 2 responded to a mutual aid call in North Kingstown.

9 p.m., Sept. 6, Engine 1 and Cars 2 and 3 responded to a truck fire on Route 138.

10:17 a.m., Sept. 7, Special Services 1 and Car 3 were dispatched to an EMS assist on Newport Street.

3:07 p.m., Sept. 7, Ladder 1 and Engine 1 went to Beavertail Road for an EMS assist.

6:18 p.m., Sept. 7, Special Services 1, Engines 2 and 3 responded to an automobile accident on Union Street.

10:38 a.m., Sept. 8, Engines 1 and 3, and Cars 1 and 2 went to Valley Street for a report of smoke from an electrical short.

10:51 p.m., Sept. 8, Car 1, Ladder 1, Car 1, Engines 1 and 3 responded to a call on Douglas Street.

11:07 a.m., Sept. 8, Ladder 1, Engines 2 and 3 were dispatched to a smoke smell call at the library.

5:44 p.m., Sept. 8, Engines 1 and 3, Cars 1 and 2 responded to an auto accident on the Jamestown Bridge.

6:05 p.m., Sept. 8, Engine 2 and Ladder 1 went to the library for a shorted motor call.

EMS runs

N/A, Sept. 1, EMS 1 was dispatched to Fairview Drive for a patient assist. No transportation was needed.

8:55 p.m., Sept. 2, EMS 1 was sent to Fairview Drive for a patient assist. No transportation was needed.

5:21 p.m., Sept. 5, EMS 1 responded to a medical emergency at the Ft. Getty campgrounds and transported a patient to Newport Hospital.

5:10 p.m., Sept. 6, EMS 1 assisted a walk-in trauma victim at the ambulance barn and transported the patient to Newport Hospital.

8 p.m., Sept. 6, EMS 2 were sent to Mast and Sail Street to stand by in case of emergency during tropical storm Hanna.
