I used to like to drive
      I don't remember when I stopped liking it, but now every time I have to get behind the wheel of my car I do it with a sense of dread. It has nothing to do with the car. In fact, I love my Saab 9-3 wagon. It's probably the favorite of all the cars I've owned or leased over the years. The seats are comfortable and the radio comes in clear.

Planning is a work in progress
      Community planning is a consensus building process based on community input, professional guidance and political will. Jamestown is in the process of updating its Zoning Ordinance. The town adopted the Zoning Ordinance in its current form in 1995 to be consistent with the newly adopted State Zoning Enabling Legislation.

What should we do with the old highway barn?
      It won't be long until the town's highway department will move into its long-awaited and much needed new facility near the Pell Bridge. So what will we do with the old building at Ft. Wetherill? We're talking about prime waterfront property, overlooking a small scenic harbor and the East Passage of Narragansett Bay.
