Women's self-defense course offered by police

The Jamestown Police Department is offering a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Class for women of all ages.

The four-day class will be held from Nov. 17 to 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Jamestown Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus Ave.

The class is free. Participants must be able to attend all four nights. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call Sgt. Karen Catlow at the police station 423-1212. Space is limited.
