NOTICE is hereby given that there will be a public hearing by and before the Town Council of the Town of Jamestown on the 10th of November 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jamestown Town Hall in the Rosamond A. Notice of Preliminary
Public Hearing
A Preliminary Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19 for the Comprehensive Permit Application for Affordable Housing for the Lawless two-lot Subdivision, 14 Pemberton Ave., at a meeting of the Jamestown Planning Commission beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Chambers located at 93 Narragansett Avenue in Jamestown.
This project consists of a two-lot Subdivision with one existing house, being accessed from Pemberton Avenue, a public street. The application is requesting two variances. The existing house on the east side of Pemberton Avenue does not currently meet the front yard setback and the proposed lot requires 80 feet of frontage where 29 is proposed. The project is comprised of Tax Assessors Plat (AP) 8 Lot 473. Said lot proposed for Subdivision begins less than 1/10th of a mile (330 feet) north of the intersection with Narragansett Avenue.
Interested parties may examine the plans for the Comprehensive Permit Application and proposed Subdivision at the Jamestown Planning Office, located at the Town Hall, 93 Narragansett Avenue Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 423-7210.
The Planning Commission will review and act on the proposed subdivision as well as the requested variances through the Comprehensive Permit process. The proposed Subdivision may be revised by the Planning Commission as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the Public Hearing.
