Thanksgiving feast set at library The Friends of the Jamestown Library will host a re-creation of the first Thanksgiving on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 2:30 to 4:15 in the library meeting hall. Children can come in traditional costumes if they wish, enjoy a pot luck feast and make holiday decorations to bring home for their own Thanksgiving feast. There will be some great stories told and a screening of Charlie Brown's version of the holiday with his friends. In the spirit of giving, bring one non-perishable food item to donate to the Jamestown food closet and a simple item to add to the pot luck feast. The program is free and open to all ages. Pre-register at the library desk or by phone 423 7280. |
