Thanks for a great season
      The Jamestown Soccer Association's 2008 fall recreation season concluded on a beautiful autumn morning Oct. 25, with a full complement of soccer players of all age groups cheered on by family, friends and occasionally hoarse coaches. The younger players received a trophy and the older players were given a JSA T-shirt to commemorate the end of the season.

Successful show from the JCT
      What a show! "Song Man, Dance Man" was a departure from the usual for Jamestown Community Theatre (JCT), and what a great detour it was! Many thanks to all who attended. We could not stage any show without your support. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Thanks for food pantry donations
      Members of the St. Mark Outreach Committee would like to thank the Boy Scouts and their leaders for collecting and delivering food items for our food closet. Thank you also to all the wonderful Jamestowners who left these items to be collected. In these hard economic times, your donation will help ease those struggling to make ends meet.
