Successful show from the JCT

What a show! "Song Man, Dance Man" was a departure from the usual for Jamestown Community Theatre (JCT), and what a great detour it was! Many thanks to all who attended. We could not stage any show without your support. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

As always, there is an enormous amount of work and effort that goes into a production. Many thanks, of course, to our star, Jon Peterson, and to our incredible youth chorus, their music director Patty Vandal, and accompanist Walter Sage. They rehearsed separately and came together beautifully. We appreciate, too, the volunteers who always step up and make it happen, especially Tony Gutierrez, Jeff Johnson, Cindy Blair, Cathy Kaiser, Joshua Brown, Amy Thorp, Lynn DeValerio, the parents of our chorus (who, since it was such a small group, worked non-stop), and JCT board members and their family members. Thank you, too, Bob Fuquea and Dr. Len Hubbard.

We also appreciate unfailing support from the business community, especially Baker's Pharmacy, Secret Garden, Conanicut Marine Ship Store, Pleasant Surprise in Newport, Midnight Sun in Wickford, McQuade's Marketplace, Trattoria Simpatico, the Jamestown Press, Cumberland Farms, BJ's Wholesale Club, Jamestown Senior Center, Jamestown Recreation Department, Newport Daily News, Newport This Week and Motif Magazine.

We appreciate every day being a part of this wonderful community, Jamestown. Thank you.
