Thanksgiving is here, and Christmas and Hanukkah are just around the corner. The Chamber, along with some individual members, will be hosting some wonderful holiday events during the month of December. The Chamber is pleased to announce something new to kick off the holiday shopping season in Jamestown: the Chamber Check Give-Away. More ... Cartloads of pumpkins as yellow as gold, Onions in silvery strings, Shining red apples and clusters of grapes, Nuts, and a host of good things.' Chickens and turkeys and fat little pigs, Oh, these are what Thanksgiving brings! More ... We observe Thanksgiving tomorrow. It is a traditional family holiday, a celebratory gathering punctuated by a major feast. There's the famous Thanksgiving Day parade and, of course, lots and lots of football.
