St. Michael's to present 'Grinch'
The year-round drama program at St. Michael's Country Day School will perform Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. in the school's Hill Arts and Athletics Center.
There is no more satisfying way to wrap one's arms around the good - and the bad - of the busy holiday season than to take a seat and watch a production of Theodore Geisel's 1957 story of "The scheming, green sourpuss," said one NPR reporter, "who hated Christmas so much he tried to make it vanish completely."
Directed by department head Christina Johnston against a set created by drama tech teacher Ellyn Eaves-Hileman and her class, the students, in grades 5 through 8, are all part of the school's year-round drama program, which is one of their two elective arts courses.
The play is free and open to the public, and parking is free. For more information, call 849- 5970, ext 330.
