'Christmas story' on tap at Courthouse Center for the Arts

Get in the spirit with a holiday comedy performance at the Courthouse Center for the Arts.

"A Christmas Story" is the delightful tale of Ralphie, a 9-yearold boy, obsessed with getting an official Red Ryder 200-Shot Air Rifle for Christmas.

This stage adaptation of the movie is based on the book "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash," by Jean Shepherd.

A Christmas Story will run Friday and Saturday, Dec.19 and 20, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m.

The Courthouse Center for the Arts is located at 3481 Kingstown Rd, West Kingston. Call for more information or to purchase tickets at 782-1018. Tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and members and $20 for students. Special group rates are available.
