Garden club does wonderful job

On behalf of the trustees of the Jamestown Philomenian Library, the library staff and the people of Jamestown, we would like to thank the Jamestown Garden Club for decorating the library in the spirit of the season.

This year, Prim Bullock, who heads up the committee that does all the work, has outdone herself. Prim said she wanted to "shake things up" so the entrance doorways have angels with trumpets of gold and the front of the build ing has swag around the arch, a new and lovely touch. The hallway tree is covered in candy canes with silver and red balls and there are red poinsettias everywhere. The hallway in the rotunda has three gorgeous pink poinsettias set in moss.

Thank you to the president of the Jamestown Garden Club, and a special thanks to Joan Taft, the library volunteer who provides the lovely fresh flower arrangements you see every Monday morning at the front desk.
