      Electrical permits Joe Dutra received a permit Dec. 22 to upgrade service to 200 amps at 20 Weeden Lane, work estimated to cost $2,250. Eric Archer received a permit Dec. 22 to install a temporary service at 20 Ocean Ave., work estimated to cost $2,200.

      9:28 a.m., Dec. 22, Car 1 and Engines 2 and 3 went to Watson Avenue for a good intent call. 3:52 a.m., Dec. 23, Car 2 and Engine 2 went to Spriketing Street for a carbon monoxide call. 11:01 a.m., Dec. 23, Car 1 and Engines 2 and 3 went to Bay View Drive for a smoke detector malfunction.

POLICE LOG
      Drug possession charged • Michael Shurko, 50, of Cranston, was charged Dec. 21 with crack cocaine possession after police entered a house he was in on a search warrant, police said. Shurko was held at the police station, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions as a probation violator, police said.
