Chorus looking for new members

The Jamestown Community Chorus will begin rehearsals for its Spring Concert on Monday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church, at 99 Narragansett Ave.

Titled "The Jamestown Community Chorus Goes to the Movies," the concert will take place the first weekend in May and will feature a wide variety of choral music that appears in both new and old movies.

Additional singers are also sought to round out the chorus' soprano, alto, tenor, and bass sections. enjoy singing are welcome. Auditions are not required and choral experience is not necessary. The chorus welcomes anyone who enjoys singing. There is a modest membership fee and a nominal cost for music.
