Rose B. Drolet, 78
She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, family and extended family. She loved music and shared this joy with her children and was often heard singing aloud. She was a natural philanthropist; donating to charities, sending many notes and cards to people in need and always having a kind word for others. She kept a "God Box" where she lovingly put her private prayer intentions. While a member of the OLQM Ladies Sodality, she participated in minstrel and variety shows which demonstrated her perpetual sense of humor and million dollar smile. Rose was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Rose's legacy will live on in her daughters and grandchildren. Rose is survived by her daughters; Francoise Cook, of Jamestown, Sandra Cote, Susan Drolet, Denise Drolet; sisters, Madeleine Morelle, Theresa Drouin, Marie-Aline Scaramella and Andree Jeffords; grandchildren; Sarah and Matthew Bernier, Kate D'Amico, Rene White, Nathaniel, Vanessa and Victoria George, Elizabeth and Brandon Cook, step-grandchildren; Michelle Washington, Michael Cote and Amy Lahousse.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held last Saturday, Jan. 5 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Woonsocket. |
