Youth basketball starts Saturday

The Jamestown Recreational Basketball League will begin this Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Lawn Avenue School gym. All students in grades 3 to 8 are encouraged to participate. All third and fourth graders will play at 9 a.m., fifth and sixth graders at 10 a.m. and seventh and eighth graders will take the court at 11 a.m.

Students may register this week at the recreation office or on Saturday morning at the gym. The cost is $20 per child and $10 for each additional child in the same family. All coaches should attend the session they have volunteered to coach in order to help form the teams. Anyone who is interested in coaching, or needs more information can call the recreation department at 423-7260.
