Youth league starts this weekend

The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Youth Recreation Basketball league will start this Saturday, Jan.19.

Boys in grades 3 and 4 will play at 8 a.m. at the recreation center, followed by the third and fourth grade girls from 10 a.m. to noon.

Boys and girls in grades 5 through 8 will meet from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lawn Avenue School.

Interested boys and girls in Kindergarten are now eligible for Youth Instructional Basketball, which will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., every Monday night at the recreation center. Sign up forms are available at the recreation center or on Monday night.
