Larson novel next book topic

The Afternoon Book Discussion at the Jamestown library continues at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 12 with the book "Isaac's Storm: A Man, a Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History" by Erik Larson.

The Tuesday book discussion has been on-going since February 1997; they meet the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. The group is open to the public and has discussed a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles. New participants are always welcome.

In response to requests, the library will also reinstate its evening book discussion on the second Monday of each month starting Monday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. The book for the evening discussion will be the same as the book for the afternoon discussion.

For more information, call the library at 423-7280. Books may be obtained through the Jamestown library by placing holds on one of the many copies in the state available through the Ocean State Libraries. Registration is not required.
