Rye Satterly, 27, of North Kingstown was charged Jan. 21 with a bench warrant violation for failure to appear in court and failure to pay a fine to the court after police ran his license plate and stopped him on Route 138 West, police said.

Satterly was held at the police station where he paid the $477 fine to Newport District Court, according to police.

Alexander Forbes, 22, of Newport was charged Jan. 20 with a bench warrant violation for failure to appear in court and failure to pay a fine to the court after police ran his license plate and stopped him on Route 138 West, police said.
