Larcenies reported

• A Cole Street resident reported that his car alarm went off about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 14 and he found his door open when he went out to investigate. A neighbor's interior car light was also on and footsteps were heard running from the scene. Nothing was taken and neither vehicle appeared to be damaged, police said.

Two other Cole Street vehicles were reported entered about the same time, but nothing was reported missing, police added.

• Another Cole Street resident reported the next morning that her car was entered sometime during the night of Feb. 14 and her wallet with approximately $5 worth of coins and a roll of bridge tokens was reported missing. The woman's wallet was found three houses away with only her driver's license gone, police said.

• Two cars were entered at the same address on Hamilton Avenue the night of Feb. 14 between 2:30 and 7 a.m. A total of $200 in cash was allegedly taken from one of the cars as well as two coin tubes and a full roll of bridge tokens. A roll of bridge tokens was missing from the second car. Both cars were left unlocked in the driveway with keys in the ignition, police said.
