Make animal-inspired clothing at kids' workshop

Are you as proud as a peacock? Do you have stripes like a zebra or spots like a cheetah? Don't know? Join the South Kingstown Parks and Recreation Department to make animal-inspired attire.

This class, for children ages 3 to 8, will be at the Tri-Pond Park Nature Center on Tuesday, March 25, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Parents or guardians must accompany those 5 and under.

This is a messy class, so kids should come dressed to make a creative mess.

The cost is $15 for residents of South Kingstown and $18 for non-residents. Advance registration is required. Live animals will be present. For more information or to register, call South Kingstown Parks and Recreation at 789-9301 or visit the website at www.southkingstownri.com/parksrec.
